Privacy policy.

Short version: we collect your email address, the files you choose to process, and how many minutes you have used. Files you do not save are deleted after about 24 hours. We do not sell your data and we do not use your files to train models.
1. Who is responsible
SI Devworks, owned and operated by Sary Ismail, is the data controller for FileConvert Studio. Address for service: Derbyshire, United Kingdom. For any privacy question or request, email support@fileconvertstudio.com.
2. What we collect
Account data. When you sign in with Google we receive your email address and a Google account identifier. We store those, plus a user record holding your plan and your usage totals. We do not receive your Google password.
Files you upload. Audio and video you choose to process, and the outputs produced from them, including converted files, transcripts and subtitle text.
Usage data. The tool used, file name, file size, media duration, the minutes charged against your allowance, and job status and timestamps.
Billing data. Handled by Stripe. We receive a Stripe customer identifier and your subscription status. We never see or store your card number.
Technical data. Standard server and platform logs generated by our hosting provider, such as IP address and request metadata.
3. Why we use it, and our lawful basis
To provide the service you asked for, including storing and processing your files and returning results — performance of a contract. To operate billing, enforce plan limits and prevent abuse of allowances — performance of a contract and legitimate interests. To keep the service secure and debug faults — legitimate interests. To meet accounting and tax obligations — legal obligation.
We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not build profiles about you.
4. Who we share it with
We use these processors. Each receives only what its job requires.

We do not sell personal data or share it with advertisers. We may disclose data where legally required, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
5. International transfers
We are established in the United Kingdom and the service is operated from Bahrain. Our processors operate globally, including in the United States. Where data leaves the UK or EEA, transfers are made under the safeguards those providers rely on, such as standard contractual clauses and, where applicable, adequacy decisions.
6. How long we keep it

7. Your rights
If you are in the UK or EEA you have the right to access your data, correct it, have it erased, restrict or object to processing, and receive it in a portable format. To exercise any of these, email support@fileconvertstudio.com. We will respond within one month.
You can delete most of your content yourself at any time from the gallery in the studio. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk, or to your local supervisory authority.
8. Security
Files upload directly from your browser to Firebase Storage over TLS rather than passing through our servers. Storage rules restrict each file to the account that created it. Files handed to processing providers use short-lived signed links rather than public URLs. Administrative access to production data is limited to the operator of the service.
No system is perfectly secure. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose.
9. Cookies and local storage
We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, and there is no third-party tracking on this site. Signing in stores authentication tokens in your browser’s local storage, which is strictly necessary for the service to know who you are. Clearing site data signs you out.
10. Children
The service is not intended for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top, and give notice in the product for material changes.
